To prevent personal injuries while working on the mower deck, ensure that the breaker switch is turned to the ‘OFF’ position or the Anderson connector is completely unplugged.

Lifting Up the Deck

1. Lift Deck with Jack

   Use a jack to lift up the deck by using the outer edge of the mower deck as the jack point.\

   
2. Weight Consideration

   The mower deck currently weighs approximately 300 lbs. Use an appropriate lifting device or get someone to help. Improper lifting techniques can cause muscle strain or back injury. Always use lifting aids and proper lifting techniques when trying to lift the mower deck.

3. Jack Up Mower

   Jack up the mower until the wheels are off the ground.

Cleaning the Cortador Deck

1. Flush Clippings

   Flush clippings from the underside of the mower with compressed air or a pressure washer set to low pressure.

2. Scrape Underside

   If clippings and dirt are dried, scrape the underside of the mower clean.

3. Re-paint Chipped Areas

   Re-paint chipped areas to prevent rust
